Andrew Bailie is an American blues, funk and soul guitarist and singer-songwriter. Originally hailing from Cleveland, Bailie began his musical career in Omaha, NE at the age of thirteen where he led an award-winning band for the better part of ten years before making the move to Brooklyn, NY in 2012. It didn’t take long before he had established himself as a staple at venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End and The Shrine. During his tenure in NYC, he toured extensively in the United States and Europe with Cory Henry & the Funk Apostles. He has also worked with Miss Lauryn Hill, members of Snarky Puppy and shared the stage with Talib Kweli, Russell Malone and Calvin Keys. After five years in the city, Andrew relocated to Maine where he is enjoying a bit of the country life and delving deeply into his songwriting. He is currently putting the finishing touches on his debut solo record out in 2017.
